Now! We continue what we began two years ago as an informal DownEast Cachers group. It was a pleasure to meet with 8ball yesterday to discuss the goals for a formal down east cachers group. The first step is to redraw the lines so we can operate formally. As stated in 8ball's letter on his blog, it is important to be understood as a strong group of cachers from small rural communities and ciites we need to be recognized as the down east cachers. This recognition will give us a voice to pursue parks and recs support for the sport of geocaching. I invite all who have supported the informal down east redneck events to rally to this opportunity to be heard.
